Independence Day is upon us and we know how exciting this time is for everyone. With things returning to normal since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to encourage everyone to celebrate the Fourth of July while conserving your resources and saving energy.

Disposable Party Ware – This year do away with the disposable plates, cups, and silverware to reduce waste. Try using the dishes you already in your home!

Get Outside – Reduce your party’s energy at home by having your party outside. If it is not too hot take advantage of the scenery and enjoy the festivities in your backyard or at an event nearby.

Local Activities – Fireworks are beautiful but not always environmentally friendly. This  year try and gather a group together and go see your local fireworks display. It is a great way to get everyone together and see the fireworks in a way that causes less harm to the environment.
